All students deserve a chance to be successful in life, providing students with healthy learning environments give them the best chance. Students attend school approximately 6 hours a day, therefore schools are in a unique position to influence the health and wellbeing of their student population by providing nutritious food, and adequate opportunities for physical activity throughout the school day.
Our children need our help growing up into successful adults. They need guidance on the choices they make from the friends they have to the kinds of foods they eat. Parents are a critical component of this process.
