Why School Wellness? All students deserve a chance to be successful in life, providing students with healthy learning environments give them the best chance. Students attend school approximately 6 hours a day, therefore schools are in a unique position to influence the health and wellbeing of their student population by providing nutritious food, and adequate opportunities for physical activity throughout the school day.
